THE FELDENKRAIS METHOD®
The Feldenkrais Method® has been around for over 50 years, since Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984) originated the method and began teaching it.
It's based on principles of physics, biomechanics and how the human brain develops and learns. It goes beyond conventional therapies to improve physical functioning as well as overall well-being.
The Method® is often described as an educational process that teaches you how to learn from your body. As a form of movement therapy, it gives you a means to take charge of your own care and improvement.

Throughout or lives we acquire patterns of movement and posture. That's one reason we can identify a person from a distance simply by observing the way they walk. While some habits serve us well throughout our lives, others do not. In fact, many of the physical limitations and discomforts we experience may be unconscious habits we practice day in and day out.
Taking time to recognize your movement habits and return to healthy ones improves not only your body, but also your ways of thinking, feeling and acting in the world.
